Cheryl McEntire was injured in a single-vehicle wreck when the 1999 Chevrolet
Silverado she was driving south on Highway 160, on Monday, Nov. 19, veered off
the road on the left, traveling along a ditch until coming to a forced stop at a
driveway that, in part, filled the ditch. Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jeff
Coffey investigated the accident scene.

BYBEE-Cheryl McEntire, 47, of Moore Hollow Road, in
Newport, was injured and bruised on Monday, Nov. 19, when her 1999 Chevrolet
Silverado she was driving south on Highway 160 in Bybee veered off the road and
into a ditch before coming to an abrupt stop at a driveway that blocked the
ditch, the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported.
McEntire was transported by ambulance to Newport Medical
Center for treatment.
Benita Raleigh, who lives in the residence with the
driveway that stopped the Chevrolet, at 3010 Highway 160, held onto a leash
with "Monkey", McEntire's dog.
