At Newport Grammar School on Friday, Go Purple Day got a boost from the
Zmich family. Grandpa Lenny Zmich was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
in September and is calling attention to the illness. With him are his grandsons,
Logan Latno, at left, and Parker Latno, the children of Brandy Hensley. Lenny's
wife, Debbie Zmich and their daughters, Jenny, and Brandy were out painting
Newport purple during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in November.
