The High Oaks Coon Club honored barbecue chef and volunteer John Bublitz on
November 10 at the Edwina Community Center. State Representative Jeremy
Faison presented a state resolution to Bublitz because of his work to help raise
funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Bublitz is a businessman who has
lived in Cocke County and for years has competed on the national barbecue circuit.

who represents The High Oaks Coon Club. The club has raised tens of thousands of
dollars for St. Jude during the years at its fall barbecue.
