NEWPORT-The Cocke County Office on Aging/Senior Center will once again provided home-delivered meals for Cocke County senior citizens age 60 or older who either live alone, live with a spouse, or will not be traveling to relatives for the holiday. The meal is provided free of charge.

Last year, the Center provided meals for 157 people. This year the agency expects that need to top the 200 mark.

Support for this project is needed. "We need monetary donations to purchase food and paper goods," said Carlene Robinson, Center Director.
