NEWPORT-The Modern Woodmen Youth Service Clubs of Newport
Grammar School recently completed their annual food drive with a total of
17,697 food items.
Students, NGS staff, families, and friends united in the
project and collected five truckloads of food.
Classes with winning totals were Julie Wilson's
kindergarten, Julie Souder's fourth grade, Ashlei Ball's kindergarten, and
Leigh Anne Kickliter's first grade. These classes will enjoy a pizza party,
courtesy of Douglas Cherokee Neighborhood Center, the recipient of the food.
This year a Volunteer Prince and Volunteer Princess were
