Reader questions efforts to keep county beautiful

Dear Editor:

 

Why does Cocke County have an office with employees to keep our county beautiful when they cannot do anything because there are no laws to enforce any junk, wrecks, trash or death-trap buildings? As a taxpayer, I ask why?
