NEWPORT-Autopsies have positively identified the two
deceased persons that were discovered at 4340 Ball Hollow Road, in Cosby, on
Thursday, Oct. 4.
In a press release from the Cocke County Sheriff's
Department, the two individuals are identified as Nancy McGill, age 55, and her
son, Donald McGill, age 38.
Dental records of the two people were matched with the
bodies by a University of Tennessee medical examiner who performed the autopsies.
The release stated that Cocke County Det. Jason Oury has
been the primary investigator in the case. He has reportedly been assisted by
Det. Bryan Murr and Det. Travis Webb, of the Sheriff's Office, and Tennessee
