Man injured in shooting

COSBY-The Cocke County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting in the Bogard area in Cosby this morning (Thursday), at about 1 a.m., according to Det. Kevin Benton of the CCSD.

Four people, including two witnesses, were involved in the shooting, which left a person injured with "very, very minor" injuries, according to Det. Benton.

The detective said a weapon was recovered, and there is a suspect, but no one had been arrested as of early this morning.

Det. Benton said there was "an ongoing investigation" into the shooting incident.
