New sheriff addresses complaints of unclean bathrooms in courthouse

NEWPORT-Sheriff Armando Fontes, responding to complaints
of unclean bathrooms in the Cocke County Courthouse on East Broadway, said
Wednesday he had brought citizens' concerns to the attention of the county
employee that oversees maintenance, including cleaning the two bathrooms in the
downtown building.
The Newport Plain Talk has received phone calls and
letters to the editor complaining about dirty bathrooms in the courthouse.
