Yes, there still are some honest people in this world! When Joyce Walker, right, accidentally dropped a $100 bill last Monday while paying for an item at Dollar General in the Eastern Plaza, Melissa Thomas (standing next to her) found the bill and turned it over to Becky Lane, who, in turn, gave it to Manager Tami Cody (far left). Cody kept the bill for safekeeping in expectation that Walker would contact the store about the $100 she was missing.
Author: Nelson Morais NEWPORT-Joyce Walker was shocked when she discovered she must have accidentally dropped a $100 bill while buying an item at the Dollar General store in the Eastern Plaza last Monday, Aug. 23. Imagine Walker's greater shock-and relief-when the manager of the store told her an honest clerk had found the $100 and handed it over for safe-keeping in the store's safe.
