Here are your winners from the 4th Annual 4th of July Tortoise Races
at Bent of the Creek Campground in Del Rio. From left are Avery Turner
1st place in Small Girl's race), Cody York (2nd), Macy Self (2nd) and
Aiden Self (1st place in small boy's race). Not pictured is adult race winner
Susie Self. The turtles were divided into three heat races. After the racing
action was completed, the Tortoises were released back into the wild.
