CCHS FOOTBALL

 

First-year CCHS football coach Greg Hacker has announced that his players need to report on Monday, July 26, to the football field at the school. Hacker said all players, grades 9 through 12, need to report if they plan on playing. Report time for the players is at 4 p.m.

 

COSBY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

 

Cosby High School head football coach Tyler Shelton has announced that fall practices will begin Monday, July 26, at Raymond Large Field starting at 9 a.m.

 

COSBY MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL

 

Cosby Middle School football practices will

start Monday, July 26, at Raymond Large Field starting at 6 p.m.

 

EDGEMONT FOOTBALL

 

The Edgemont Rams football program is starting its 7th & 8th (Middle School) practice Monday, July 26, at 5 p.m. for both football players and cheerleaders.  If you have not signed up you may do so at practices. PARROTTSVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD DAY

 

Parrottsville Little League will host their 1st Annual Field Day at Parrottsville Football Field on Saturday, July 31, all day. There will also be sign-ups for football and cheerleading at $30 per child. Please bring a copy of birth certificate. There will be live music, great food, baked goods, car washing, a silent auction and all-day activities for children 12-and-under. NEWPORT LITTLE LEAGUE FOOTBALL

 

Newport Little League Football will hold registration Monday and Tuesday, July 26-27, and Thursday and Friday, July 29-30, from 6-8 p.m. each day at the Newport City Park Football Field. The age groups are; Grasscutter, 5-7 years old, Super Grasscutter, 8-9 years old, and Pee Wee, 10-11 years old. The player must be 5 and not have reached their 12th birthday before August 1.  All new players must have a copy of their birth certificate at registration. The registration fee, including a volunteer concession stand fee, is $55 for each child, with discounts given for siblings participating in football or cheerleading. The volunteer concession fee will be explained at sign ups. For those who pre-registered in April, you will need to come during this week for equipment distribution.
