The Chestnut Hill Volunteer Fire Department would like to
express the sincerest thanks to your wonderful publication and to the
volunteers who helped make the 35th Annual Chestnut Hill Charity Horse Show a
glowing success.
Many people volunteered many hours of their time, talents
and hard labor to make the show one of the best ones yet.
A special thanks goes to Bobby Holt for presenting the flags
and serving as one of our ringmasters. Also a big thanks goes to Alton Cureton,
who served as our announcer. Alton does a wonderful job of entertaining the
crowd and keeping the people happy at all times. He is a great people person
and Cocke County should be proud of his accomplishments. We really appreciate
all these two men do to help us out each year.
The Chestnut Hill Community is amazing when it comes to the
Horse Show. So many people volunteer for so many jobs. From parking cars to
picking up trash to selling drinks and making fried pies. The list of names
would go on and on, so as not to leave anyone out, Thank you to everyone who
helped and Just came and enjoyed the show.
The year the Horse Show cleared over $8,200for the Chestnut
Hill Volunteer fire Department. This is a big help to the firefighters to pay
their everyday expenses, buy equipment and help with insurance costs.
Once again, Thank you to everyone and we look forward to
doing it all again next year.
