A beautiful new electronic sign now welcomes visitors to Cocke County High School at the
intersection of Hedrick Drive and the school's front driveway. The CCHS Student Council,
in cooperation with the CCHS administration, and the administration of Ben W. Hooper
Vocational School, along with an anonymous business partner, successfully completed
this project last week. Student Council officers are shown with schoolteachers and
administrators. From left are Lucas Valentine, electronics teacher at BHVS, CCHS Principal
Larry Williams, CCHS Assistant Principal Casey Kelley, Council Vice-President Benji
Huffhines, Council Treasurer Alex Suggs, Council President Luke Bell, Council Secretary
Jessi Reed, Council Sponsor Dr. Clay Blazer, and CCHS Assistant Principal Gail Burchette.
