The March meeting of the Newport Board of Education will be Monday, March 15, 2010, in the Director's office located in the Newport Grammar School primary building. The board workshop/pre-meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with the regular board meeting immediately following. Items on the March agenda include the acceptance of bids for a new gas boiler, travel requests, field trip requests, adoption of language arts textbooks, and a review of board policies. Both meetings are open to the public.
