Velma Valentine Lunsford will celebrate her 90th birthday March 11, 2010. She has lived in
Sevier and Cocke Counties her entire life. She was married to Torrel Lunsford for 54 years
prior to his death in 1994. She has two sons, Rev. James and Rose Lunsford of Jones Cove,
and Gene and Phyllis Lunsford of Cosby, and a daughter Ruby and Jack Sutton of Cosby. She
has 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also the mother of the late Robert
(Bobby) Lunsford. One granddaughter Jamie is also deceased. She will celebrate with a dinner
at home with family and friends.
