The Cocke County NJROTC Unit departs for Kansas City,
Kan., today for the Area 9 championship.
For the fifth consecutive year Cocke County has earned an
invitation to the championship of a ten state area. At stake during this
championship competition is another invitation to the National Championships,
and for the fourth consecutive year, the Tennessee State Championship in Navy
JROTC.
The 1,500 mile round trip will test the endurance of the
team and the instructors.
