A benefit for cancer patient Irene Williams is planned for Saturday, March 6, at Del Rio Elementary School.

Williams continues treatments for her illness which began in her breast and has spread.

A hot dog supper with desserts and drinks will be offered.

Also, a big auction, featuring new and used items, and a bake sale will be held, as will old-fashioned cake walks.

"Come out and have a good time and help someone in need," said one of the organizers. "Everyone is welcome. We'll start at 6 p.m."
