The Newport Plain Talk begins its first Upickem contest for Internet users of the newportplaintalk.com Website.

The Cutest Little Valentine contest began this week and costs nothing to enter, and the Upickem contest software allows anyone to vote online for a small transaction fee.

"There is a great interest in online contests, and we have several scheduled each month during 2010, including many sporting events," said Mark Taylor, online sales representative.

It's easy to enter photos and names of your Valentine. Just go to the newportplaintalk.com and look for the Upickem contest. You will be able to submit photos and information.

The cutest Valentine will be the child, no older than 12, who gets the most votes before February 12, 2010. Votes cost $5 for 10 votes.

Submit photos to the Plain Talk by e-mail to mark.taylor@newportplaintalk.com. The winning contestant's photo will also be published on the frontpage of the Plain Talk and the photo will appear on our Website for the remainder of February.
