Dana Barnes, a senior at Cocke County High School, is the Newport Plain Talk's Calendar
Girl for January. Dana is the daughter of Jeff and Lisa Norton. She is sponsored by
Norton's Body Shop and Allen's Transmission, Inc. Dana will help us celebrate all sorts of
event during this first month of 2010: New Year's Day, Celebration of Life Month, the
opening of Ellis Island in 1892, the birthdays of Elvis Presley and Martin Luther King, Jr.,
National Bird Feeding Month, and National Get Organized Month.
