Keep Cocke County Beautiful will open Mrs. Claus' Attic on Saturday, Nov. 14, just in time for shoppers to find just the right Christmas decorations for this season.

According to KCCB Director Elizabeth Reed, the event is a fundraiser for the organization.

"We'll have plenty of opportunities for you to purchase new and 'gently used' Christmas decorations," Reed said. "Most of us have Christmas decorations we no longer use, but which are still in excellent condition. This opportunity will allow people to carry out their recycling practices in a fun-filled way and benefit KCCB at the same time!"

"You are invited to set up a table for this event to display your goods," she continued. "for a $20 tax deductible donation to KCCB. This is a pre-Christmas event with Mr. and Mrs. Claus."

Reed said that opportunities for photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus will also be part of the morning activities.

Mrs. Claus' Attic will be located in the Newport/Cocke County Community Center and will be open from 9 a.m. until noon.
