The Newport Kiwanis Club honored past President Daisy Crowder during their
regular meeting this past Tuesday afternoon at Mountain Crest Inn. Crowder
was presented a special plaque by current club President Rodney Buckner for
all of her accomplishments while serving as President of the club. Crowder
said she thoroughly enjoyed her term as President, but "I couldn't have
accomplished anything without the help and support of all of the club members."
