The Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital on Hedrick Drive offered free physical exams to cats
and kittens on Saturday, Sept. 26. Shown here examining a kitten is, left, Dr. Janet Beagley,
a veterinarian at the hospital, and Cindy King, a licensed veterinarian technician. Steady rain
may have been a factor in the relatively low turnout of 16 people and their pet for the
two-hour free cat clinic, employees said. All visitors also got a free feline leukemia FIV test
voucher for their cat or kitten.
