In its' continuing effort to reach out to our local
schools, the folks from the Jefferson Cocke County
Utility District fired up their gas grills and cooked up
some delicious steaks for the Cosby Eagles football
players, coaches and families on Thursday afternoon.
Helping out at the feast at Cosby School were, from
left, Eric Gregg, JCCUD General Manager Tommy Bible,
Gary Hammonds, Linda Bible, Cosby head coach Tyler Shelton,
Carolyn Ramsey, Rob Wilson, Robert Overholt, Karen Barding,
Danny Barding and Bill Buda. "We enjoy showing our
appreciation of the Cosby football team and their coaches," said
JCCUD General Manager Tommy Bible. "We just wanted to show
our support for what they do." "This was a phenomenal meal," said
Cosby head coach Tyler Shelton. "They spent so much time
preparing this for us, and the steaks were the best I've ever
tasted, and I've eaten a lot of steaks. It's special to see JCCUD
and our local businesses getting out and showing their support
for our local schools and teams. It's greatly appreciated."
