The Newport Housing Authority new office construction is well underway this summer.
A supervisor with the general contractor Evans Contracting expects the facility to be
finished by Sept. 1. Recently, Drain Masonry of Knoxville was bricking for the sign
entrance. Michael Brady Inc is the architect. The brickwork and trim matches the Boys
& Girls Club facility nearby. Clearwater drilling had its rig in place to make a deep well
for the project.
