NEWPORT-The Cocke County Basketball Camp will be heldMonday through Friday, June 22-26, at Cocke County High School Gymnasium forboys and girls in grades three though nine.

The boy's camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. eachday while the girl's camp will run from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The cost is $60 per camper.

Sign-ups will be held Sunday, June 21, from 1 p.m.to 4 p.m. at the Cocke County High School Gymnasium.

The camp will feature several skills instruction stationsran by former and current college basketball players, as well as team andindividual skills competitions and five-on-five play.

Each camper will receive excellent instruction and skilldevelopment from the experienced staff. There will be specific skill focusdays, including shooting, pick-and-roll and post play.

All campers will receive a trophy/medal, and there willbe several special awards given out, including MVP, hardest worker, best passerPG, best defense and best rebounder. Campers will have the opportunity to winprizes and drinks through competition as well.

Concessions will be available on some of the days aswell.
