The Cosby Ruritan Club used some of the funds raised during the May Ramp Festival to aid both the Cosby Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Newport Rescue Squad. Club President Elaine Shropshire said these organizations help the club during the annual event. From left on Friday night are CVFD Capt. Mike Shropshire, President Elaine Shropshire, Rescue Squad 1st Lt. Eddie Clevenger, Rescue Squad Warrant Officer Matthew Woody, and Cosby Ruritan Club Treasurer Jerry Cody. The checks were for $1,000 each.
