NEWPORT—Newport Grammar School teachers will soon be studying ways to identify bullying among students and learning ways to help bullied students cope with such situations.

NGS Assistant Principal Justin Norton told members of the Newport City Board of Education on Monday that plans call for Linda Branam, NGS guidance counselor, to share this information with teachers in the near future.

"We’re also considering doing the same kind of programs during parent-involvement meetings," Norton added. "Cyber bullying will be addressed."
