NEWPORT—Organizers of Cocke County’s second RAM (Remote Area Medical) event have confirmed the dates when hundreds of area citizens will receive free medical care.
"We will host our second RAM on November 1-2, 2014 at Cocke County High School," said RAM Chairman Don Ellison. "We expect approximately over 1,000 people will be seen during those two days."
In 2009, during Cocke County’s first such event, 754 patients received free examinations, dental care, and other medical help.
