NEWPORT-A motorcyclist negotiating a curve on Highway 25/70 lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which flipped and left the driver injured on Sunday evening, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Douglas D. Bentley, 45, of Newport, was traveling west on Highway 25/70 when, at about 6 p.m., when his motorcycle exited the road to the right and lost control on some gravel, the THP report stated.
