NEWPORT-The Cocke County Regional Planning Commission decided Guy Hommell Jr. must get an updated estimate of the cost to complete the building of roads, and installation of water, sewer, plus seeding, which will be reflected in a new letter of credit.

The county planning commissioners, meeting at a special called meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 17, heard from County Attorney Carter Moore who said he confirmed with Wilson Richey, an attorney for National Bank of Tennessee, who will determine the revised estimate to complete Phase 2 of the English Springs development, plus 10 percent, for a new letter of credit.
