A passenger in the Camaro, Rachel Carver, 31, of 444 Highway 160, in Newport, was injured. Smith was not injured. CENTER: James Dylan Bradshaw, 20, the Stony Point, N.C. driver of this 1996 Isuzu Rodeo was killed in a head-on collision with another vehicle on Highway 340, near Goodwater Road, around 11:15 p.m. on Friday, July 5, the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported. BOTTOM: Allen D. Williams, 48, of Parrottsville, the driver of this 1995 Ford RNS pickup truck, and a passenger, Christie Williams, 42, of Parrottsville, were injured when, while traveling south on State Highway 340, near Goodwater Road, on Friday, July 5, at 11:14 p.m., a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo headed in the opposite direction, and driven by James Dylan Bradshaw, 20, of Stony Point, N.C. collided head-on with them in a curve in the southbound lane. Bradshaw was killed in the wreck.

NEWPORT-A Newport man and a North Carolina man were killed in separate, unrelated vehicle crashes over the Fourth of July weekend.
Three others were injured.
Tony Lee Sutton, 22, of 1567 East Highway 25/70, in Newport, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro on Sunday, July 7, at 4 p.m., when he allegedly pulled in front of a Volvo tractor-trailer headed east on West Highway 25/70, at the intersection of Clevenger Cut-Off Road, Patrolman Mike Robey of the Newport Police Department reported. Sutton was killed.
Delbert Ray Smith, 59, of Johnson City, the tractor-trailer driver, said the Camaro pulled into his path of travel, and the tractor-trailer struck the Camaro in the driver's door, damaging the front end of the tractor-trailer and the driver's side of the Camaro, the report stated.
A passenger in the Camaro, Rachel Carver, 31, of 444 Highway 160, in Newport, suffered an "incapacitating" injury and was initially taken by EMS ambulance to Newport Medical Center. On Monday evening, July 8, she was listed in "critical" condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
