NEWPORT-Danny Earl Shrader, 55, and Peggy Shrader, 64, both of Sevierville, were arrested Tuesday, June 18 and charged with 159 counts of identity theft and criminal conspiracy after they allegedly used the account of a deceased man to purchase items at a local business at the tax-free rate, Det. Kevin Benton reported.
The name of the business was not included in the report.
Boyd Finchum, who died June 24, 2012, reportedly had an account with the business.
The Shraders are accused of using his account and telephone number 159 times between June 27 and May 29, 2013 to purchase items at the business.
