COSBY-The ever-popular Cosby in the Park festival will be held Saturday, May 18, at Cosby Campground.

Now in its 14th year, the event is sponsored by Great Smoky Mountains National Park in cooperation with the Cocke County Partnership and Great Smoky Mountains Association.

Admission is free. The event opens at 10 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m.

Cosby in the Park celebrates the area's cultural heritage through demonstrations of music, crafts, and history, as well as displays of quilting, cornshuck dolls and crafts, old-time toys, natural foods, medicinal plants, and other folk arts.
