NEWPORT-A driver of a White Honda Accord and four passengers were arrested Friday, May 3, after undercover officers with the Cocke County Sheriff's Department saw them leave a known drug house in the vehicle, the Cocke County Sheriff's Department reported.

The vehicle was allegedly pulled over after it ran a stop sign at Dawson Road, Deputy Sheriff Jerry Vandergriff reported.

The driver, Whitney L. Fox, 26, of 551 North Highway 340, in Parrottsville, had a Tennessee ID card, but not a driver's license, the report stated.

Central dispatch allegedly showed that her driver's license was suspended for failure to satisfy citations in Cocke County on Nov. 12.

Officers checked local warrants on the other four occupants of the vehicle, which revealed that one of them, Jessica June Hance, 22, of Newport, had multiple warrants issued for her arrest.
