NEWPORT-The Cocke County Regional Planning Commission heard from developer Guy Hommel Jr. when they met Tuesday, April 23 for their monthly meeting.
Hommel Jr. has two letters of credit due in August. They pertain to seeding and paving work in the developments.
The letter of credit for the English Springs Phase One development is for $159,500. The letter of credit for the Blue Springs Phase One development is for $44,000. Both letters of credit are due Aug. 24, according to the county mayor's office.
Hommel Jr. asked about the possibility of constructing concrete roads in the developments, but commissioners informed him that concrete roads would not be accepted into the county road system.
