NEWPORT-Federal law enforcement is investigating a sexting case after a minor student at Cocke County High School was found on Wednesday, April 10, with nude pictures of a man she had communicated with, and nude pictures of herself, on her cell phone.

Sgt. Randy Cutshaw said the man in question called the principal, assistant principal, and Sgt. Cutshaw, on Wednesday, apparently wanting to talk with someone "with authority".

Sgt. Cutshaw said he called the man back, who said a female CCHS student he named wanted to blow up the school.

The man claimed to be Master Sergeant Marvyn Wvought, that he worked for the U.S. Army, and was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia. He also claimed his job was to monitor chat rooms on the Internet for pedophiles.

The man allegedly described a chat conversation that took place on Tuesday, April 9, and that he traced the IP address to the minor student's cell phone. He gave Sgt. Cutshaw her age, as well.
