COSBY-Plans continue to come together for the upcoming celebration of the 100th anniversary of Cosby Baptist Academy, now Cosby Elementary and Cosby High Schools.

On Saturday, April 13, students, faculty, and staff of both schools will host a huge celebration beginning at 2 p.m.

Taking a leading role in the event will be members of the new Cosby Academy, co-sponsored by CHS teachers Tina Williamson and Shawna Murrell.

"The students are very excited," said Williamson on Thursday at another planning meeting at the school. "They look forward to meeting the many Cosby alumni who will be here and showing them our schools."

From 2-4 p.m., visitors may enjoy walking tours of both schools. Cosby Elementary School's Junior Beta Club members will serve as escorts at their school, while Cosby Academy members will lead similar tours through the secondary school.
