COSBY-Trailing by as many as nine points late in the third quarter, the second ranked Cosby Lady Eagles stormed back and found a way to pull out a victory in overtime against Gatlinburg-Pittman on Tuesday by a 58-54 margin.

The victory was the 15th straight for the Lady Eagles (18-2, AP No. 2 Class A), as they swept the season series with the Lady Highlanders (18-5).

A game that truly was a tale of two halves worked in Cosby’s favor as they had momentum going into the extra four minute period.

Getting to the overtime frame was nowhere close to an easy task for Cosby, however.
