SNEEDVILLE-Neither Cosby basketball team finished with a solid performance on Friday evening against Hancock County, and only one came away with a victory.

The Lady Eagles opened with a sluggish 35-27 win and were led by Bethanie Williams with nine points.

The Eagles struggled mightily, falling to the Indians 44-31. Tate Parton was the only Cosby player in double figures with 10 points.

Cosby has a busy week ahead as they travel to Jellico tonight and Claiborne on Thursday. They return home Friday to host Washburn.
