(Last modified: 2012-12-31 18:30:49) Source: The Newport Plain Talk GREENEVILLE-Cocke County High School closed it's run in the 2012 LandAir Ladies' Classic with a loss in the consolation bracket on Saturday afternoon.
Holy Name (Ohio) was able to survive 26 turnovers and take a 54-48 win over the Lady Red. The two schools were tied at 22 apiece at halftime, but Holy Name (5-6) used a 14-5 run in the third quarter to put distance between themselves and Cocke County (8-8).
