The unknown robber locked an assistant manager and an employee in the restaurant's walk-in cooler and fled the scene with $914 in cash, a NPD report stated. Assistant Manager Tiffany Webster said the robber, who was between 5-foot, 10 inches and 6-feet tall, and slender, entered Sonic through the front door, pointed a black gun at her, and started yelling, "Get down on the floor." He wore a black ski mask and blue jeans, and appeared to have the voice of a white male, according to the report.
