PIGEON FORGE-It was just one of those nights where nothing seemed to go right for the Cosby Eagles gridiron gang, who came out on the losing side of a 52-7 contest at Class AA Pigeon Forge High School on Friday night.

"We came in against a solid ball team, and we couldn't make any breaks early," said a disappointed Cosby head coach Kevin Hall, following the 45-point loss at Jim Whaley Field. "Penalties killed us early, they got on us and we couldn't claw back.

"We fought hard and we played hard, but the game just got away from us really quick."
