COSBY-Friday night could be a must-win situation for the Cosby football team.

If the Eagles still hope to grab the second seed in the region and host a playoff game, they'll have to win out against conference foes and get some help from other teams currently in front of them in the Region 1-A standings.

That begins Friday as the Eagles travel up Roan Mountain to face off with the Cloudland Highlanders (7:30, RADIO: WLIK 1270 AM, Tape Delay).

Cosby can't control what happens with other teams though. The Eagles can only worry about what they can control, and head coach Kevin Hall said that while this game is a must-win, every game is.

"We call them all must-wins, especially from here on out," Hall said. "If we want to host a home playoff game, we have to win them all. We've preached that since the beginning of the year. They're all must-wins in my book."
