NEWPORT-It's back to the hardwood for Cocke County's Recreation Basketball Leagues this Friday and Saturday, January 29-30. On Friday, there will be nine games at three locations, the Rec. Department, the Community Center and at Bridgeport, and 19 games on Saturday at four locations, the Rec. Department, the Community Center and at Centerview and Grassy Fork.

 

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29

 

CO-ED: Coaches Shannon Myers (Bridgeport) and Kevin Hall (Edgemont) will play at Bridgeport starting at 6 p.m.

 

8-9 GIRLS: Coaches Norman Smith (Parrottsville) and Charlie Stewart (Community Center) will play at the Rec. Department starting at 6 p.m.

 

8-9 BOYS: Coaches Chris Taylor (Community Center) and Randy Blazer (Parrottsville) will play at the Community Center starting at 6 p.m. And, coaches Dewayne Daniel (Parrottsville) and Phillip Stewart (Edgemont) will play at the Rec. Department starting at 7 p.m.

 

10-11 GIRLS: Coaches Jackie Swanger (Bridgeport) and Kristal Workman (Rec. Dept./Smoky) will play at Bridgeport starting at 7 p.m. And, coaches Chasity Gentry (Community Center) and Matt Gentry (Community Center) will play at the Community Center starting at 7 p.m.

 

10-11 BOYS: Coaches Rodney Myers (Bridgeport) and Stueffon Thomas (Rec. Dept./Edgemont) will play at Bridgeport starting at 8 p.m. while coaches Matt Gentry (Community Center) and David Hensley (Centerview) will play at the Community Center starting at 8 p.m. And, coaches Norman Blazer (Parrottsville 2) and Tommy Bell (Smoky) will play at the Rec. Department starting at 8 p.m.

Department) will play at Centerview starting at 10 a.m. while coaches Melissa McGill (Smoky) and Angie Stump (Parrottsville) will play at the Rec. Department starting at 10 a.m. Coaches Jessica Galler (Centerview) and Randy Driskill (Parrottsville) will play at Centerview starting at 11 a.m. while coaches Heather Hooper (Smoky 1) and Craig Henderson (Del Rio) will play at the Rec. Department starting at 11 a.m. Coaches Travis Coggins (Grassy) and Bryan Freshour (Bridgeport) will play at Grassy Fork starting at 11 a.m. while coaches heather Hooper (Smoky 2) and David Ramsey (Del Rio) will play at the Rec. Department starting at 12 p.m. And, coaches Heather Ball (Grassy) and Shannon Myers (Bridgeport) will play at Grassy Fork starting at 12 p.m.
