(c) 2009 NPT Photo by Duay O'Neil Organizers of the second annual Chili Cook-off, sponsored by Leadership Cocke County Class of 2008, met recently to put the finishing touches on this year's event. Set for Saturday, Nov. 7, at Newport City Park from 1-4 p.m., the cook-off is a fundraiser for the group's Leadership Scholarship. Special musical guests this year will be Steve Brown & Hurricane Ridge. The winners of this year's event will appear on Chef Walter's television show.
