Schreder, at the invitation of Eagle head coach Tyler Shelton, has been putting the Eagles through their paces the last few weeks. "We (Smoky Mountain Endeavors) work with rising athletes to assist them with both physical and mental attributes that will help them both on and off the surface of play," said Schreder. "Tangible and intangible teamwork and leadership traits will assist young athletes not only now, but also in their future! We deliver life skills to young serious athletes as well. We, of course, have tailored our workouts to the specific needs of the Cosby football players including cardio, speed, agility, everything a football player needs." With high schools now officially entering the TSSAA dead period, a two-week stretch when athletes are kept from coaches and facilities, Schreder has devoped a mini-camp for players at Smoky Mountain Endeavors. "We've developed these special 'dead period' camps at our location in Cosby, and we've kept it inexpensive for the kids to attend," said Schreder.
