A sign has been placed off Maple Street beside White Pine City Hall indicating the spot where the Jefferson County Veterans Memorial will be constructed. From left are Paul Ollis, Jimmy Hammond, Lynn Marshall, David Bugg, and Jerry Calfee. Fundraisers are being planned to assist with the construction of the memorial. A motorcycle ride is being planned for Saturday, Nov. 8, and more details will be made available soon.
