Newport Federal Bank became a Platinum Sponsor of Cocke County Relay for Life 2008 on Tuesday when President Richard Harwood, left, presented a check to Jennifer Howard, Cocke County Relay for Life Team Recruitment Chair. Cocke County Relay for Life 2008's grand celebration will be this Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, at Cocke County A & I Fairgrounds. Fifty-eight active teams have worked for several months raising money for the American Cancer Society in this yearly campaign.
