Daniel Norwood, age 35, of Dandridge, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Physicians Regional Hospital.
He was a member of Blowing Cave Baptist Church and was employed with The Thomas Group in Sevierville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Dussie Norwood and Odell and Edith Ivey, uncles John A. Norwood, Sonny Norwood, Harold Lee Norwood, Bobby Ivey, Roger Ivey, Lester Turner, and Kennith Messer, and aunts Hessie Messer, Jo Ann Norwood, Louise Henry, Leetta Ivey, and Dolores Ivey.
He is survived by his wife Samantha Norwood, daughter Jackalyn Norwood, mother Vivian Diane Norwood, father Bobby Gene Norwood, sister Tonia Norwood, all of Dandridge; mother-in-law Robin Moesch, father-in-law Michael Moesch of Largo, FL; sister-in-law Angel Capana; brothers-in-law Mark Capana of Port Richie, FL; nieces Megan and Allyson Green of Knoxville; uncles Mike (Kathy) Ivey and David Ivey, all of Dandridge; Howard Ivey of Cleveland, OH; Clayton (Claudia) Norwood of Newport; Fain (Clara Mae) Mottern and Clyde (Doris) Norwood, all of Sevierville; aunts Bonnie (Jackson) Sebeck of Bowling Green, OH, Dorothy (Shelby) Reagan of Sevierville; Mary Norwood, Rosetta Norwood, and Bonnie Turner, all of Newport and Judy Norwood of Dandridge; and several cousins, family, and special friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Hodge and the Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00—7:00 p.m. prior to the services.
Burial will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Burchfield Cemetery.
